I’ve spent the past 10+ years working across graphic design and branding for independent businesses, with a particular focus on food, drink and hospitality. From building brands from scratch, to designing menus and merchandise, I work closely with business owners to produce work that looks great and serves a purpose.
I first began working with Strangers Coffee Company since 2014, when it was a stand alone café in Norwich. As the company has grown into a nationwide roasting and wholesale business, I have worked across operations, creative and marketing. I currently work as in-house graphic designer, responsible for delivering branded packaging, custom merchandise and marketing materials.
In Toronto, I was part of Maker Pizza's senior management team during a period of rapid growth, helping the business expand from two locations to six. I focused on applying brand guidelines across customer facing materials for new restaurant launches, ensuring a consistent experience across all sites as the company scaled.
For Dino’s Coffee in Bristol, I was brought in-house to develop a new brand identity and coffee packaging. The launch marked a significant turning point for the company, which went on to roast as much coffee in its first month under the new brand as it had previously roasted across an entire year.
Type Heavy Company has been an ongoing creative outlet since 2020. It’s a space for exploring typography and illustration through collaborations, commissions and self-initiated projects. I forge partnerships with producers and makers to bring selected artworks to life as prints, garments, zines and other products.
I’m currently available for freelance and creative project work, from branding and design to packaging, print and art direction.
